       Renata Pereira Lima - Master Degree


She received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2007) where she worked with field ecology at the Biosciences Institute. She received a master's degree investigating the mirror neuron system and the mechanisms underlying learning by observation using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). She is also engaged in spreading science and scientific ideas to lay audiences.

Felipe Rodrigues

       Felipe Rodrigues - PhD


Professor at Universidade do Oeste Paulista (Unoeste) for the courses of Biological Sciences, Biomedicine and Psychology. He has a D.Sc. (Physiology) from the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (2011) and he is graduated in Biology by unesp/Botucatu (2003). He is also a musician. He has experience in Anatomy and Physiology, with current emphasis in Neurophysiology.

Camila Victorino

       Luiz Eduardo Tassi - PhD


Graduado em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Paraná, é médico psiquiatra. Obteve seu título de doutor com pesquisa na área das bases neurais da tomada de decisão, estudando o comportamento de roedores em jogos estratégicos.

Rodrigo Pavão

He has a D.Sc. (Physiology), developed at the Laboratory of Cognitive Sciences (IB/USP), with application of Information Theory to sequence learning (2007-2011). He received a master's degree fom same Institution, in which he evaluated the relationship between motor, cognitive and learning impairments along Parkinson's disease progression (2004-2007). He is a major in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2000-2003): undergraduate research project involving acquisition of new skills through imagery training.

André Kanamura

       André Haruo Kanamura - Master Degree


Master of Science (2008) and Biological Science Graduate (2005) at Universidade de São Paulo with reasearch on computer-assisted instruction of neurophysiology and software development in Flash (Adobe). His study covers some aspects of Working Memory and Didactic Transposition.

Paula Moura

She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of West Paulista (1998-2001), graduated with a Masters Degree in Developmental Disorders from Mackenzie University (2002-2003) with the dissertation entitled: "Influence of the selective excitotoxic lesion of the medial amygdala nucleus on the rodents' social interaction", and has a Ph.D. in Science (General Physiology) from the Institute of Bioscience of University of São Paulo (2004-2008) with a period of training at Yale University (2006-2007), with the thesis entitled: "Contributions to the study of social recognition memory in rats".

Lotte Renault

       Lotte Renault- PhD


Concluded Master and Doctorate studies in the same institution (1999 and 2003), researching the neurochemistry of opiates in the hippocampus and its role on operational memory. In parallel, developed works in science education, with particular emphasis on teachers training.


Fields of interest:

Lotte's main fields of interest are the neurochemistry of memory, science education and capacity building of education personnel. She is currently developing materials and guidelines for science and health education in multilingual settings at the Southeast Asia region.
